RN Huddle Re-Visit: Sexual Assault Awareness Month – Part 2
In this episode of RN Huddle, we continue to discuss SANE nursing as a part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Join Claire, Jen, and Devi as they finish their discussion on the fictitious cases that they started chatting about during our last episode. As always, we here at RN Huddle aspire to educate about hot topics in nursing that although are tough to discuss, are necessary to advocate for.

Here are some hotlines who can help: National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-SAFE(7233); Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network: 1-800-656-HOPE(4673); and the National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline: 1-866-331-9474.
Additionally, the nurses in this podcast discussed two different resources that they suggest. The WCA and Heartland Family Services. We’ve placed their information down below.

On this episode, we welcome back Ashleigh Boyd to the podcast. Ashleigh founded the Treat the Nurse program (found here: https://www.treatthenurse.com) and this program single handedly helps nurses with burnout and compassion fatigue. On this episode of RN Huddle, Ashleigh is once again joined by host Heidi Keeler but this time they are focusing more on burnout but also secondary stress and how to (once again) combat it.
